What I can see now is, everyone is
in it for themselves. No matter how truthful, how faithful, and how devoted a
person may be to you, there is a strong possibility that they aren’t telling
you about something that they do or did and they don’t want you to know about
it. People are generally pretty selfish beings, and will represent the
appearance that they are like such a good friend and will do anything for you,
no matter what, but when It comes down to it, in a ton of different situations,
it’s dog eat dog, every man in it for himself, survival of the fittest. It’s a
sad and unfortunate truth, but that’s simply the way it really is. You and your
friends go to a bar. Do you really have any idea of actually being with them in
the bar once you walk in? When you walk in, you might stay together for a small
amount of time, and then it’s off to the fucking races; “I want pussy!”; “I
want to get fucked up!”; “I want to get laid!”; “I want to do that!” The other
friend doesn’t come in to play anymore; the friend becomes a diminished
priority in seconds. When we take an exam and receive the results back, we
discuss with each other how we did on the exam, but whether the person next to
you did bad or good, you don’t really give a fuck. What you really care about
is YOUR grade and that is fucking it. If you think about it, the only reason we
ask each other about how the other person did on an exam is because it may make
us feel better temporarily, it may give us a moment of satisfaction. If they do
well and you do well, it’s ok because you still did well so you’re pumped. If
you did well and they did bad, that makes you feel smart as shit because you
killed it and they didn’t, it makes you feel slightly better. If you did badly
and they did badly, you can justify your poor grade and make yourself feel
better by stating the fact in your head that everyone else did bad, so it’s not
that big of a deal that I did too. In the end, it’s pretty irrelevant that
everyone else did badly too, you still did poorly, and you will receive a poor
grade because of it. What others got on an exam serves no relevance to you,
which is proof that the interaction and discussion of test results is solely to
make ourselves feel better inside for a slight period of time. This exam
example is just a miniature model of how and why our comparisons with each
other really come about in life. We want to feel better about ourselves, so we
fucking compare ourselves to others. If someone is worse than you in anything,
then power to you, you can fucking think in your head about how you are better
than them for that so and so reason. Now you can fucking sleep better at night,
Congratufuckinlations! People care about themselves way above any other for
obvious reasons. We control our own fate entirely, we decide where we end up in
life, and we decide if we are going to get pussy even. Whatever we desire to do
or accomplish, it is up to us and only us to make it happen. When you think
about this, it makes sense that people don’t really give a fuck about each
other, why should they? It’s not this that I’m not ok with, it’s the fact that
people are so fucking consumed with the like the: “I got you bro!” or like the
“I only care about you, I’d do anything for you”. People need to fucking face
the facts and acknowledge that we simply don’t’ really give a fuck about how
each other’s’ lives are shaping out. All we care about is how our own lives are
shaping out and how we can maximize our goals and dreams in our lives. This
way, people would no longer become hurt or offended or whatever when their
“friends” act a certain way. So in the end, all I really have to say is “Fuck
you all, I’m hungry, and I just want to sleep”
